411mania.com reported on Oct. 28 that the announcing team for the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view will be Michael Cole, Jim Ross and JBL as the company prepares for what looks to be a huge PPV event.
Here is a look at what is in store for the Hell in a Cell event.
Randy Orton and Albert Del Rio battle in a feud with no title on the line. The two have been butting heads on Smackdown during the time that Orton has not been out shooting his most recent movie. There is little push here for this match, and Orton should go over, maybe preparing him for his eventual heal turn.
The Diva’s title is on the line in a triple threat match between Eve, Layla and Kaitlyn. The storyline here is that Eve probably attacked Kaitlyn before their last title match, but blamed everyone else. Eve should go full heal here.
Next up is the Intercontinental title rematch between Kofi Kingston and The Miz. Kofi just won the title and rumors have Miz moving to the main event scene, so Kofi should win here to make him the best of the mid-card wrestlers.
The next match is for the World Tag Team Championship, as Team Hell No defends their belts against The Rhodes Scholars. Too much has been done to build Rhodes Scholars into a legitimate team, and they need the win here. However, Hell No has been one of the biggest television draws over the last month. If Hell No wins, expect the match to be closely fought to help elevate Rhodes Scholars even more.
The World Championship is on the line as Sheamus defends his title against The Big Show in a Hell in a Cell match. Big Show doesn’t really need a title right now, but Dolph Ziggler has said he will cash in his briefcase tonight. Imagine is Show wins and Ziggler tries to embarrass Show like Daniel Bryan did.
The main event is the WWE Championship match between CM Punk and the undefeated Ryback in a Hell in a Cell match. This match is confusing, as Ryback is not ready to be a champion yet, but the WWE doesn’t want to end his streak. Expect some shenanigans, maybe with someone taking Ryback out early and John Cena making his way back in.
WWE Hell in a Cell airs on Sunday night, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. EST on PPV.
