Today the news got even worse for Barack Obama! In an A.P. Poll, it was made clear that Obama has lost his lead with women voters in his quest for a second presidential term. Obama has also called Romney a “bullshitter” according to an article published in Business Insider. The article refers to an interview done by “Rolling Stone”.
OK, we know what Obama thinks of Romney, but there is an underlying question that no one is asking, and no one has touched on lately. Yes, in the beginning of the campaign season, there were accusations, but they have tapered off to zero.
The question is this: Will Christians be able to exercise more of their God given rights under Mitt Romney if he wins than they did under Barack Obama in “his” four years that have passed.
The question is important because of Obama’s efforts to delay, stall, and/or stop as much religious freedom in this country as no other President has done. First there is what is commonly called “ObamaCare which is the nationally mandated healthcare, and requires Christian institutions to perform procedures that would otherwise be prohibited according to God’s Word and Church Doctrine. An example of that would be that they must perform abortions!
To keep this boat level, lets look at Mitt Romney’s ideas! He is the architect of what is similarly called “RomneyCare”, which is his home state’s mandated health care. He claims that RomneyCare has actually helped his state. Makes one wonder how that could have happened.
At this point, while looking at both “mandated health care” laws, it would seem that there is too much government involvement in our personal lives.
There seems to be an underlying, unspoken (at least publicly) drive to take control of the lives of all Americans. That unspoken and non-public idea of taking control of how we live reeks of Communism/Naziism.
The only way things will get better for Christians is if “government” at all levels keeps their noses out of our personal business. Additionally, the government at all levels MUST begin to have more respect for the Constitution of our Country. Those governments must halt their attitude that the Constitution is a “living breathing document” that must be allowed to change when “government” finds the need to change it.
We are living in troubled times; not only politically, but economically. Along with that comes the attack on the Constitution, by our government leaders, the courts, and our schools.
So; will Christians have all of their God given freedoms restored should Mitt Romney win? Wait for it….wait for it!
