Going out to a restaurant or lounge is not a new concept. In fact, many in the business community and other arenas take advantage of the opportunities for food, fun, and fellowship as a break from their day to day routines.
By the same token, taking your car to get it washed or cleaned isn’t a new concept either. Be it during the summer before taking that weekend cruise, or for general vehicle maintenance, making sure your vehicle is well-maintained is a regular part of any car owner’s routine.
But what happens when you combine both of these everyday concepts? Is it really possible to do? If you make a visit to the Auto Spa Bistro, you are likely to have an experience that is highly unique and relaxing.
The owner, Lemont Bradley, is a veteran in the car wash industry, having owned different washes in the metro-Atlanta area. A native of Pittsburgh, he notices a few trends that are rather disturbing to him.
“I noticed that often-times, people would come to the wash, leave their car there, and then go someplace else (i.e. a local restaurant). I figured if I could create a nicer environment, people would not only want to come here, but stay here”.
As a result, after taking a year to hone his concept, he is able to create a venue that is more of a lounge and restaurant feel, as well as having the option to receiving essential services performed on your vehicle. He noticed his patrons would come virtually any time of the day (breakfast, lunch, or dinner), so as a result, he and Chef Thomas White, who is a 4-star chef, created a full service menu where anyone can order just about anything at any time.
“The definition of the word bistro is a place to get a fast and good meal; we’ve developed this idea so you can freshly made unique meals so you can relax, regardless if you get your car serviced or not”, Bradley adds. With a full-service bar, multiple televisions to keep up with your favorite sporting events or the news, and a highly professional staff, be it the Bugatti Burger or the grilled tilapia (that I thoroughly enjoyed), patrons are bound to be able to enjoy and indulge themselves.
Combined with the outdoor seating areas and another lounge fulled equipped with free wi-fi, virtually anyone can rest, relax, or keep up with their work and busy scheduled. Bradley notes that the lounge is created with the female professional in mind. “Often times, I would find that women would dread going to get their car washed; the washes basically didn’t offer them anything and would be an uninviting or intimidating place. When they come here, they are able to feel right at home”.
An equally outstanding service and option is the washing and detailing service. They include the use of biodegradable products in order to have a longer lasting finish and look. The meticulous care of the staff includes washing and detailing by hand, which can take about 30-45 minutes to properly and thoroughly complete. Before the vehicle is released to the owner, it has to pass the white glove test by the staff, management, and the owner.
In blending the best of both worlds, the Auto Spa Bistro is a growing venue that attracts multiple segments of the community. Be it the entertainment and sports community including V103’s Frank Ski and Wanda, to its Tuesday buffet for Georgia Tech students and staff (each Tuesday from 11am until closing) and other social events, the venue is a high-quality, one-stop shopping and invigorating experience. Likewise, the business is a steady supporter of community initiatives and endeavors, including support of Hosea Williams’ Feed the Hungry.
The Auto Spa Bistro provides members of the business community, including female professionals, and all other patrons with an experience that is sincere and special. A great meal and a place to wind-down provide all with the opportunity to simply rest, relax, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of their daily schedules and routines.
And by the way, you can get your car washed and come out looking “so fresh and so clean”…
