October 26, 2012 Westport Village offering trick or treating from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Children can wear costumes and trick or treat in all of the stores. There will be live music, dancing and other family activities
October 27, 2012 Mike Linnig’s Hot Rod Halloween Event The restaurant on Cane Run Road will have a Halloween party. The event will include trick or treating, live music and a costume contest for children up to age 12. As a reminder the last day of the season for Mike Linnig’s will be Nov. 18, 2012
October 27, 2012 Boo Dell Halloween Festival in Crestwood 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at 6220 Old LaGrange Road; calling all ghosts and goblins, Boo Dell is the place to be with the kids for this fun and fright-free Halloween affair offered in collaboration with the Oldham County Public Library. Kids can enjoy trick-r treating along the Trail-o-Treats; dozens of local merchants in costumes and decorated booths around the gardens; hay rides for all and a performance by the incomparable Mr. Magic at 2:00 p.m.
October 27, 2012 Halloween Festival in Brown Park in Louisville 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Brown Park off Browns Lane near Baptist East
October 27, 2012 Pewee Valley Woman’s Club Arts and Crafts Day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; a pancake breakfast in the town square from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Proceeds benefit Oldham County Dollars for Scholars program.
October 27, 2012 Chili Cook-Off Hosted by LaGrange Coffee Roasters, bring your own homemade chili and a chair; prizes include locally roasted coffee and related products or just come by the taste test and cast your vote
October 28, 2012 Ballardsville Fire Halloween Extravaganza 60th anniversary open house; trick or treating, car cruise, and haunted barn from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Ballardsville Fire Department
