On October 29, The CW released a new sneak peek preview for the next episode of “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, episode 4 “The Five.” Spoiler alert – turn away now if you don’t want to see what’s coming up on the show.
The preview (seen below, left) features a scene in which Damon and Stefan are discussing the vampire hunter, Connor. Damon pilfered a box full of stuff from Connor’s RV hoping to find a “supernatural handbook.” Damon (who thinks that Connor was killed in the explosion at the hospital) is convinced that Connor has some type of supernatural ability because of his mysterious tattoo and the fact that he may be part of something known as “The Five” that goes way back in time.
As he’s hunting through the box, Damon receives a call from Sheriff Forbes informing him that no remains were found in the hospital. Damon knows that Connor is still alive, but still he doesn’t know that the hunter is being held by Klaus.
The preview ends with Stefan and Damon at odds (once again) about Elena. Stefan insists that he’ll never forgive Damon for allowing Elena to feed on him, but he doesn’t want to fight anymore. Damon shocks Stefan with news that he’s taking Elena to a nearby college so that she can practice feeding on humans using the “snatch, eat, erase” method. Judging by the look on Stefan’s face, Elena neglected to tell her boyfriend about the upcoming road trip.
The synopsis for this episode reads:
A FRAT PARTY AND A FLASHBACK TO 12TH CENTURY ITALY — Damon goes with Elena and Bonnie to visit Whitmore College, where Professor Shane is taking over the Occult Studies classes formerly taught by Bonnie’s grandmother. At a fraternity costume party, Damon takes advantage of the wild scene to give Elena a lesson in choosing a victim. Rebekah’s attempt to buy Matt’s forgiveness falls flat, but she is intrigued by unexpected news from Klaus. When Stefan questions Klaus about Connor’s motives, Klaus reveals a long-ago encounter with a powerful group of vampire hunters, but it’s Rebekah who delivers the information that stuns Stefan.
It’s going to be an exciting episode that you won’t want to miss, so be sure to tune in next Thursday at 8 p.m. to West Palm Beach Comcast channel 4 (The CW) to see “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, episode 4 “The Five.”
