“The Bachelorette” ended its run on Channel 15 in Tempe earlier this summer, but the couple formed by the series, Emily Maynard and Jef Holm, are still making news. On Saturday, September 15, Babble shared the latest photos of the couple and Emily’s daughter Ricki. Check out the photos here. Check out the previously released photos of the couple here and here. If you missed any of the previously news about this couple, go here.
Emily and Jef have started their lives together in Charlotte. Jef has moved from Utah to Charlotte to be closer to Emily. His job, as the head of People Water, allowed him the flexibility to make the move, and it looks like Jef is settling into his life. The photos show him carpooling and helping out Ricki at school events. He is even shown removing the training wheels off her bike.
In a recent interview, Jef spoke about the media and how Emily and him decided to handle it. The media attention has been focused on the couple since they revealed they were a couple. Jef had the spotlight on him as the season progressed as well. He said the following, according to Jeanette Gazette:
“During our first weekend away together, Emily and I talked about how crazy the media was going to get. We both want to ignore it, but Emily warned me that she gets hurt and upset with things that come out in the media about her. I told her I’d do my best to make her laugh about it.”
Emily has already dealt with the scrutiny of the media before. Her relationship with Brad Womack, and its end, were a big media event following his season of “The Bachelor” on ABC. However, these two seem to be handling it. They have had a scandal of rumors about cheating, but they have remained strong.
Jef also revealed one more detail about the two of them. After their engagement, the cameras did shut off and allow them alone time to spend together. Is that the first weekend away together he spoke about in his interview?
Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
