Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association invites wine lovers to join them November 3rd and 4th 2012 for the 22nd Annual Harvest Celebration. Just a little over an hour south of Los Angeles, the celebration brings 35 of the best wine growers together for the celebration.
Each winery promises to have the owner or winemaker available for questions about the wines from the vineyard to the bottle. Each winery will have favorite wine-friendly foods to enhance your wine tasting experience. The event is open to guests with a minimum age of 21 years.
The selection of wine tastings come from the association members including: Wilson Creek Winery, Wiens Family Cellars, Vindemia Vineyard, Villa di Calabro Winery, Van Roekel Winery, South Coast Winery, Thorton Winery, Ponte Family Estate Winery, Robert Renzoni Vineyards, Oak Mountain Winery, Mount Palomar Winery, Miramonte Winery, Maurice Car’rie Vineyard & Winery, Masia de Yabar, Lumiere Winery, Longshadow Ranch Vineyard, Lorimar Vineyards, Keyways Vineyards, Leoness Cellars, Hart Winery, Frangipani Estate Winery, Falkner Winery, Foot Path Winery, Europa Village, Doffo Vineyard, Cougar Vineyard, Danza del Sol Winery, Churon Winery, Chapin Family Vineyards, Briar Rose Winery, Callaway Vineyard, Bel Vino Winery and Baily Vineyard.
The wine tasting includes a selection from each of the wineries. As the vineyards and wineries want your opinion about the range of their collection. For the adventurous wine lover, please note that some of the wineries are ready to tap into bottles and barrels of yet unreleased wine for your tasting pleasure.
Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association also offers 10 different self-guided tours to delight your palate. The tours group the vineyards and wineries into specific themes: Familiar Favorites, Red, Red Wine, Calle Contento Wine Trial. Mid-Week Visit, Off the Beaten Path, De Portola Wine Trail, Rancho California Trail East, Something for Everyone, and Mediterranean: Temecula Style. Of course, you may visit as many or as few as you wish.
Tickets are available for both days for just $99; Sunday only is $79; Local day-pass is $69 and designated drivers attend for $59. Options for Temecula Valley accommodations and VIP shuttle service are available if you choose to stay the weekend.
