New York’s theater district is now a little juicier with the opening of Strip House Midtown. This is the second Strip House location in New York City and the first full-fledged brand expansion since BR Guest purchased the Strip House brand in December 2011.
Strip House Midtown is open for lunch and dinner daily. The steakhouse lunch menu features everything from entree salads to sandwiches like the Filet Mignon & Beefsteak Tomato Salad with arugula, Stilton cheese and Strip House’s signature steak Sauce or enjoy the open faced, smoked Prime Rib Sandwich with wild mushrooms, fried onions served with a side french fries.
For dinner, try one of the signature items like the namesake New York Strip steak with a side of Crisp Goose Fat Potatoes. The dinner menu also features new additions including a 16 oz. Kosher Ribeye Steak or Maine Lobster Linguine smothered in lemon-cream and lobster Bordelaise.
And there’s even something for the sweet tooth. You can’t leave without trying Strip House’s signature 24-layer Chocolate Cake, which was featured on the Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.”
The original Strip House opened in New York City in 2000 and has since expanded nationwide, becoming widely known as one of the best steakhouses in the country. Like the 12th Street flagship, the new location features the restaurant’s signature siren red interiors, mood lighting, and vintage photos of burlesque stars. The bi-level space seats 120 on the main floor and 85 on the mezzanine level. The only thing that will make the meal better is seeing a Broadway show before or after your meal.
