15th annual 700-Plus Tournament set at AMF Bradenton
AMF Bradenton will host the 700-Plus Tournament — featuring handicap doubles and virtual singles, both scratch and handicap — on Feb. 17.
The doubles competition, beginning at noon, will be composed of teams with one SMCBA member who has rolled a three-game scratch series of 700 or better in the past four years and a member who hasn’t done so. Entry fee will be $40 per doubles team if paid in advance, or $50 for walk-ins.
Virtual singles, starting at 3 p.m., will have a scratch division for bowlers who have rolled a 700+ series in the past four years, plus a handicap division for those who haven’t done so. Bowlers must roll the doubles event to be eligible for singles, and the scratch division will feature a final-five stepladder finals.
