For a story that took the Twilight world by surprise, Kristen Stewart’s admitted hot-kisses affair with her Snow White producer, the reconciliation news that keeps rushing in, like a tidal wave, is based on unnamed sources. One reason that there is no inside scoop is that the Twilight couple are holding their cards close to their chests. Also, they have no public relations team to confirm or deny rumors. If there was an “inside scooper” we would not see so many tabloid tales. However, one bit of news came from People magazine that seemed rational as reported in News facts. And the Los Angeles Times reported today, September 19, 2012, “Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: Reconciling after reunion?” Nonetheless, did you note that question mark?
The main source of the reconciliation story has been the credibility-starved tabloid, The Sun, which said on Sunday, Robert Pattinson forgives cheat Kristen Stewart. Interestingly enough, Gossip Cop has not weighed in. But let’s be realistic. The couple knows the value of the Twilight Saga and will most certainly do what it takes to promote the final film.
The facts — no unnamed sources:
The facts are slim and tabloids get fat from fiction. Here are the facts we can trust. These links all have original sources.
- Stewart admitted to an indiscretion with Rupert Sanders.
- Robert Pattinson disappeared, but resurfaced on talk shows. Pattinson on the Daily Show
- Stewart has been pictured wearing Pattinson’s clothes. His IRIE tee-shirt.
- Stewart, in her own words, said the couple would be fine and would promote Breaking Dawn. ‘We’re totally fine’
- Pattinson has not said a word about their relationship. Silence is golden.
What The Sun reported was a story full of holes. It resembled that story about Robert Pattinson fuming because someone had leaked his phone number to Stewart. The story via the National Examiner and Perez Hilton was one I immediately labeled fiction.
Where is the truth?
The closest we have come to the truth may be from Pattinson’s friend who spoke to People. But, in the absence of a confirmed source – we are all lost in a Twilight reconciliation wish that common sense tells us will come true.
