Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are slated to make their first public appearance since their relationship was rocked by Stewart’s public affair with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. According to a September 30, 2012 report from Hollywood Life, Stewart, 22, and Pattinson, 26, will appear in Mexico on November 7, 2012 for a special screening of a “Twilight” farewell video to fans. Taylor Lautner will also appear with the couple during the promotional event.
Hollywood life states, “Everyone thinks it’s hard to say goodbye, but its harder to say goodbye to crews and casts that I’ve only spent five weeks with. This was four years. I’m ready to say goodbye. I’m perfectly fine. Once the story has been told, you feel like you’ve done all you can do. It’s pretty easy to walk away. It’s not like its going anywhere. This one’s mine, forever.”
Reports continue to surface describing the steps Pattinson and Stewart have taken to move forward as a couple since “Us Weekly” published photos of Stewart and Sanders in July 2012, prompting the actress to issue a public apology to her long-time boyfriend. According to recent accounts, Stewart and Pattinson are now living together, in counseling and abstaining from sex while they focus on communication issues and try to resolve the factors that led to the affair.
Additionally, reports state that Stewart claims never to have had sex with Sanders but that the affair consisted solely of extended kissing sessions.
