WWE “Monday Night Raw” was live in Montreal on the evening of Monday, September 10, 2012 and everyone knew that Bret “The Hitman” Hart was scheduled to appear. The location of the famous “Montreal Screw-job” was set to be the scene of Hart’s return and likely someone that would have a thing or two to say to the WWE legend.
UPDATE: WWE confirms that Jerry Lawler suffered heart attack on “Raw”
Rightfully so, Bret Hart comes out to open the evening to an incredibly loud ovation.
UPDATE: Jerry Lawler collapses at ringside and is rushed to hospital
UPDATE: Wrestling personalities react on Twitter to collapse of Lawler on “Raw”
~ Bret Hart and CM Punk go back and forth in the ring with some great promo interaction. Punk goes back in time to say that he would have done every single thing better had he been the one to face off with Hart instead of Shawn Michaels. When all was said and done, Hart said that Punk was boring and Punk said that both Hart and John Cena were overrated.

~ Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs. The Miz & Antonio Cesaro: This wasn’t bad, but could have been really good if they had been given more time. Kind of an odd pairing to take on the tag champions and Cesaro ended up taking the pin from Kofi.
~ Six-Woman Divas Match: Layla, Kaitlyn, and Eve defeated Beth Phoenix, Natalya, and Alicia Fox in not much of anything. Not entirely sure how this result happened, but it shouldn’t have.
~ CM Punk vs. Randy Orton: Punk’s opponent was chosen by the WWE Universe, and it was actually a pretty good TV match until the crap ending. Ziggler came out to take on Orton which saw Punk return for the double team. This brought in Jerry Lawler and a tag team match was made.
~ CM Punk & Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton & Jerry Lawler: After a couple minutes of the match, Paul Heyman came down to talk to Punk. As they discussed things outside the ring, Ziggler got nailed with an RKO and pinned to give Orton and Lawler the win.
~ Matt Striker was backstage and asked Punk what his relationship was with Heyman. Punk simply said that he was a “Paul Heyman guy” before leaving.

~ Heath Slater vs. Ryback: Slater wanted a match with Zack Ryder, but got squashed by Ryback instead.
~ General manager AJ Lee told the Primetime Players that if they wanted to be the tag-team title number one contenders, they had to defeat Kane and Daniel Bryan this evening.
~ Primetime Players vs. Daniel Bryan & Kane: Bryan was in the match early on and kept refusing to tag in Kane. At some point, there was something that happened with Lawler that took the crowd’s attention out of the match to and toward him.
Eventually, Kane tagged himself in, tossed O’Neil out of the ring, and chockeslammed Young. Bryan tagged himself in which made Kane mad so he chokeslammed Bryan on top of Young which resulted in the pin.
~ Alberto del Rio vs. Tyson Kidd: Virtually a squash for del Rio.
UPDATE: It appears that what happened with Lawler was that he convulsed, collapsed, was taken to the back, had CPR performed, and was taken to a nearby medical facility. This is not storyline related and the full story can be read about here: Jerry Lawler rushed to hospital after collapsing at Raw.
At last update, Lawler was breathing on his own and being taken for a cat scan.
~ Sheamus vs. David Otunga: Sheamus won easily with the Brogue Kick. Booker T then came out and said that if Sheamus used the banned Brogue Kick again, he’d be stripped of the World Title.
~ Cody Rhodes vs. Rey Mysterio: Rhodes actually won cleanly in an entertaining yet short match. Well, The Miz caused a distraction, but didn’t actually interfere. Afterward, The Miz got in the ring to taunt Mysterio but was taken out by Rhodes.
~ Bret Hart comes out and introduces John Cena who emerges to tons of boos. He keeps on getting them as they discuss how great each other is. CM Punk finally emerges and actually turns the crowd even more on him as he says he is better than Hart, Cena, Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin, The Rock, and others.
Believe it or not, Punk actually gets the crowd to cheer for Cena. In a great jab, Cena says that Punk “stole the flying elbow of the late Randy Savage.” Some more back and forth as the crowd totally turns on Punk after Cena trash talks him in French.
Punk goes to hit Hart, Cena stops him, and Hart levels Punk as the crowd goes wild.
~ Cole finishes the night with an update on Jerry Lawler who is said to now be in stable condition with his heart beating normally and he is breathing on his own. Lawler is still awaiting a cat scan.
