“This is a bold new adventure into uncharted territory – Healing Light Kata – LIGHT FORM – is a natural fusion of Yoga, Supreme Ultimate Fist, Dance, Posture, and Climbing into a beautiful flow from the heart – pure Love, Ultimate Power.
I am hoping to form a Dance Troupe from dedicated yogis and yoginis who want to explore how beautiful Dance can be when it comes from such a powerful foundation.

Correct posture is vitally important for health, wellness, and performance of every aspect of your life.
What I have understood about posture after many years of working on myself and thousands of people in my climbing classes, yoga classes, dance, theatre, music, massage therapy and other experiences is that it is primarily a state of consciousness, how you hold your body above the Earth. Coming into awareness and immersion into the LIGHT is a profound, life-changing experience.
I have a system for posture awareness and correction that I have developed over these years of clinical and practical experience based in a deep understanding of anatomy and function of the human body. I have called this system Healing Light Kata, or more simply, LIGHT FORM.
My work is centered in helping people to become aware of this natural alignment and power, and free themselves of this unnecessary barrier to abundant health and well-being.
Through movement awareness, the breath, and working through obstacles to alignment caused by incorrect adaptation, we improve posture, which has a multitude of benefits to health, energy, and improvements to all systems of the human experience.
For example, people often develop myofascial adhesions caused by being out of line with neutral posture for too-long periods of time. You can see the result of the modern computer age (primary cause, but the not the sole cause) as it affects people who have head-forward and shoulders-forward posture.
We work together to identify where the restrictions are occurring that are preventing the person from being able to stand in classic neutral posture, free their body so they can move without pain, increase range of motion where needed, stabilize joints where needed in their intended alignment, increase circulation, improve functions of the nervous system, brain, all organs and systems of the body.
What I have found is that improving posture can make a profound difference in the quality of a person’s health, state of mind, and quality of life.
There are many possible reasons why a person has postural problems. There can be aspects of emotion, self-confidence, physical accidents, work-related misuse of the body, trauma, and other factors. The body is adept at concealing problems, and it adapts silently to conditions that really are causing it problems.
When these problems finally become too much for the body to hide, a sudden collapse can occur. For example, studies have shown that head-forward posture remodels the airway, restricting it. A correlation has been shown between head-forward posture and Sleep Apnea.
