The Voice (NBC, 8 p.m.) – “The Knockouts, Part 1” – This third season of The Voice has been extended with another round before the live performances. The “knockout rounds” begin with coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green and Blake Shelton’s 10 strongest team members remaining from the battle rounds. In this new phase of the competition the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other, but this time they find out only minutes before performing who they are up against. The artists each select their own song to perform individually, while their direct competitor watches and waits. Their coach will choose the winner, and they will proceed to the live shows.
Gossip Girl (The CW, 9 p.m.) – “Portrait of a Lady Alexander” – Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) continued investigation into his father’s dealings leads him to an unlikely event with Manhattan’s elite, where he hopes to find the one person who can tell him the truth about Bart (guest star Robert John Burke). Serena (Blake Lively) and Steven (guest star Barry Watson) decide to reveal their romantic histories so they aren’t surprised by anything, but neither was prepared for what they uncovered. With The Spectator in jeopardy after Dan (Penn Badgley) decided to publish elsewhere, Nate (Chace Crawford) must make a difficult decision to keep it in business. Meanwhile, Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg) pushes Dan to choose a worthy person to date to boost his image, but he finds himself drawn in a different direction.
Castle (ABC, 10 p.m.) – “Probable Cause” – While investigating a shocking ritualistic murder, Beckett (Stana Katic) and her team uncover surprising evidence linking Castle (Nathan Fillion) to the killing. As the evidence against him mounts, loyalties are tested, and when surprising revelations come to light, Beckett begins to wonder how well she really knows her new lover and partner of four years.
Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, 10 p.m) – “Mohai” – It’s Halloween in Hawaii and the clock is ticking when a grisly murder leads the team to a ritualistic killing, and evidence suggests that the killer will soon strike again. But better yet: Danny (Scott Caan) dons a Dracula cape!
Revolution (NBC, 10 p.m.) – “Sex & Drugs” – In order to save Nora (Daniella Alonso) from her injury, Miles (Billy Burke) leads the gang on a detour to visit an old acquaintance of his for medical support, but they quickly find themselves in unfriendly territory. Aaron (Zak Orth) recalls his meek history as he looks back at his pre/post-blackout life, and Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) delivers Danny (Graham Rogers) to Monroe (David Lyons).
