For Sunday, October 28th 2012 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:
Once Upon A Time (ABC, 8 p.m.) – “The Doctor” – While Regina (Lana Parrilla) continues to try and stop using her magic in an attempt to win back Henry’s (Jared Gilmore) affections, she begins seeing what she believes is a ghost from her past; and when Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) discover a lone survivor from an ogre massacre, Emma begins to question whether or not he’s telling the truth. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Regina finds herself failing at learning the dark arts from a dark master because something from her past is preventing her from using her magic for evil.
Revenge (ABC, 9 p.m.) – “Forgiveness” – Faces from the past are reemerging all around the Hamptons, and for Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and Emily (Emily VanCamp) it brings on different kinds of trouble and significance. Meanwhile Jack’s (Nick Wechsler) sense of duty grows exponentially, and Padma (Dilshad Vadsaria ) makes a move that could have major ramifications for Nolcorp.
Dexter (SHO, 9 p.m.) – “Swim Deep” – While trying to uncover why Louis was killed on his boat, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) must out-maneuver Isaak (Ray Stevenson), who’s after Dexter– and Debra (Jennifer Carpenter). New leads are brought to light on the Wayne Randall killing spree case by his alluring former accomplice, Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski), about whom Dexter discovers a secret.
666 Park Avenue (ABC, 10 p.m.) – “A Crowd of Demons” – As Olivia (Vanessa Williams) works to put the finishing touches on the lobby for the annual Drake Halloween costume gala, it brings to mind another memorable Halloween night in 1929, when murder and mayhem reigned in the building. However, now it’s Jane (Rachael Taylor) who finds herself in the crosshairs of the spirit from the suitcase. Meanwhile, Gavin (Terry O’Quinn) receives cryptic texts from an unknown source threatening Olivia’s safety, and Henry (Dave Annable) meets a media consultant interested in propelling his political career. A jealous Brian (Robert Buckley) questions Louise (Mercedes Masshn) about her rendezvous with Dr. Evans (Enrique Murciano) while she was recovering from her elevator accident, and one of Gavin’s most crucial personal possessions is missing by the end of the evening.
Homeland (SHO, 10 p.m.) – “Q & A” – Brody (Damian Lewis) finds himself prisoner again, but this time it’s on American soil. Meanwhile, Carrie (Claire Danes) is forced to play second fiddle after her rash judgment call at the hotel, as Estes (David Harewood) is busy sweeping the tracks clean to keep Jessica off their trail. And Dana’s (Morgan Saylor) relationship with Finn (Timothée Chalamet) is taken to the next level from fun to deadly serious.
