On Thursday, October 4th, 2012, Olé Restaurant Group is celebrating National Taco Day with their “Tour de Taco” event at Olé Mexican Grill in Cambridge from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm and Zόcalo Cocina Mexicana in Boston from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Chef Erwin Ramos is taking all he learned while travelling in Mexico to create an unforgettable taco dinner to commemorate the big day. Since each region of Mexico has their own taco specialties, the menu will allow guests to take a taco tour of Mexico with dishes from a few different areas.
Ingredients in the tacos include shrimp, steak, pork, and peppers, with influences that are said to be from Baja California all the way to Yucatan. Diners will have the chance to pick four out of seven tacos that they would like to try at the meal. A side of Mexican rice, cilantro rice, beans or plantains will also be included alongside the tacos for $18 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made by calling Olé Mexican Grill at (617) 492-4495 or Zócalo Cocina Mexicana at (617) 456-7849. Check out the menu below:
