Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s reconciliation is a set-up for failure as far as their friends are concerned. They don’t believe their relationship will last past the theater run of “Breaking Dawn 2.” Robert’s reasons for taking Kristen back are basically based in familiarity, according to Times Live in a new article published Saturday. Robert sees Kristen as someone who understands him, which might not be the best foundation for rekindling a relationship.
The ball was in Robert’s court when it came time for the couple to reunite. It was his decision to make as Kristen’s tenacity didn’t wane when it came to pursuing Robert for a second chance. While Robert found that he couldn’t fully trust Kristen right away, he was willing to give her a chance to prove herself once again. According to Time Life, Robert feels that Kristen is the only one who understands his life and this has prompted him more than anything else to agree to have another go at their relationship.

The couple has been together for more than three years, so familiarity has flourished. Once a couple is in a relationship, their little idiosyncrasies become second nature to their partner over time. This makes way for a comfort level you just can’t image having with another soul.
The feeling that Kristen understands him more than anyone else does is actually very common with most couples. It takes a while for familiarity to make its way into a relationship and when it does it offers a comfort level that you just can’t imagine with another person, which often leads one to believe that this is it, they’ve found that soul-mate.
When a couple first gets together they put their best foot forward and as they slowly learn to put their guard down they learn some very personal things about each other that binds them even closer as a couple. An example of this is bathroom habits, which is not something newly dating people would know about each other. Once a couple is together for a while, their daily habits become your second nature.
They may read on the toilet, sing in the shower, or come out of the bathroom smothered in a face cream that renders them hideous looking. These personal moments are awkward to experience for the first time, but soon it’s very familiar and comfortable for both partners.
This comfort level is one of the hardest aspects of a relationship to give up. It sounds as if Robert sees this comfort level as something that Kristen can offer him exclusively. It appears he’s going under the assumption that Kristen is the only one that understands him, because he can show another side of himself and its fine with her.
Chances are it wasn’t always that way in their relationship; it is something they built together over time. If he were to enter into another relationship somewhere in the future, he is capable of building that comfort level again with someone else. He doesn’t see it that way today, so he believes that Kristen is the only one that can give him this. According to his friends, this is why he agreed to reconciliation with his “Twilight” co-star.
As far as what his friends see in this relationship, they don’t believe it will last and they see it ending about the time “Breaking Dawn 2” has its final run in the theaters, according to the Huffington Post. Kristen and Robert not only lived together and worked together, the couple rose to stardom together. Anything they’ve done in the last three or four years has been together. It is hard to toss away that kind of history.
While the people close to the couple see what Robert is clinging to in the relationship, they also think that when the “Twilight” saga is gone, their relationship will soon follow. What do you think?
