Kim Kardashian makes a big splash after scaling down those dangerous curves with a sexy and slinky mermaid costume. This year she hosted the Midori Green Halloween party for the second year. According to a news story reported by Starcasm on Oct. 28, the New York City party was indeed a sexy splash.
Kim’s mermaid costume was exquisitely designed. The form fitting tail of the mermaid costume was completely covered in deep emerald green that resembles the beautiful green coloring of the ocean’s seaweed beds. The white accented shells on the bodice projects a jeweled beauty that is so natural to those one might associate with the tales of Neptune. Tresses of blond hair is the final touch that gives Kim that fairy tale look found in so many children’s story books.
The word mermaid is originally derived from two words; mere, meaning sea; and maid, referring to a young maiden or girl with long flowing hair. Mermaids are also a symbol of eloquence and Kim Kardashian is nothing but eloquent in her form-fitting Halloween costume.
The movie “Splash” was a major hit in 1984 which gave Kim the inspiration for this year’s costume. While keeping the theme flowing as the ocean’s tide; Kayne West, her boyfriend was also decked out in a nautical captain’s outfit. Kim joked that Kanye “could sail her away to safety” according to another news story posted on Oct. 27 by SFGate.
This reality star dove in and made a splash that filled this Halloween party with oceans of fun!
