With cancer being one of the most prominent health challenges in our society as well as a source of much business for the medical and pharmaceutical industry, independent physicians and researchers have found it challenging to provide the best information and treatment options to the public. To address this challenge, a team of independent researchers formed the Independent Cancer Research Foundation, Inc. (ICRF), which conducts research and provides educational information to the public about cancer and other illnesses.
Board members of the ICRF have more than 45 years of cancer research experience and collectively they have worked with thousands of cancer patients. Based in Lees Summit, Missouri, the organization is composed of the following board members:
R. Webster Kehr, Chairman and President – Webster is the author of the CancerTutor website. He lives in Kansas. Webster is the cancer researcher who, in 2004, developed the model of how microbes inside the cancer cells block the creation of ATP molecules. Around the time this occurs, the cells can no longer survive with their normal aerobic metabolic process and must convert to an anaerobic method of sustenance. Thus, as cell integrity is compromised by stress factors such as toxic overload and oxygen and nutrient deficiency, microbes begin to infest the cell and the cell’s last-ditch means of survival is to change into a form that is designed to survive without oxygen. Webster has developed more than a dozen highly effective cancer treatments.
Mike Vrentas, Vice President – Treasurer – Mike and his wife Cherie have been researching alternative treatments for cancer and chronic diseases since 2001. Mike has produced an Audio Book called “Cellect/Budwig and More”. This protocol has been found to be very effective not only with all types of cancer, but many other chronic and terminal diseases. Mike lives in Missouri and supports the protocol with consultations, anywhere in the world with the use of Skype.
Dr. William Wassell, M.D., Vice President – Dr. Wassell is active in Vitamin C research and provides technical support for alternative cancer researchers. Dr. Wassell lives in Louisiana. Dr. Wassell is the son of a famous medical doctor who was a hero during World War II. Dr. Wassell’s father disobeyed orders at great risk to his own life to save the lives of several of his wounded soldiers/patients. A movie was made about his heroics (“The Story of Dr. Wassell” starring Gary Cooper).
Gary Teal, Board Member – Dr. Teal is an expert in acupuncture, electromedicine and general alternative cancer treatments. Gary has written extensively on using Rife devices to treat cancer. He is also an expert in nutrition. Gary lives in Utah.
The types of treatments examined and promoted by these researchers include dietary and nutritional protocols, herbal compounds, energy and electromedicine, oxidative therapies, Oriental medicine, and mind-body therapies. The organization seeks to provide information and options that are not tainted by corporate interests, but which are truly independent and devoted to helping people access the most effective alternatives for treating cancer.
When you are asked to support organizations that claim to be helping to find a “cure” for cancer, it might be prudent to ask them if they are informing the public about all the proven cancer therapies that already exist. By pretending that cancer cures don’t exist, all these organizations can continue to raise huge amounts of money, much of which is funneled to drug company research and non-profit organization executive salaries. This stream of money would dry up if it was admitted that many safe, inexpensive cancer cures have already been used successfully for many years. With so many people and institutions dependent on the cancer industry, it seems clear that there are strong motivations and powers at work to sustain the status quo and suppress the flow of information in order to maintain the flow of money.
The Independent Cancer Research Foundation is a group of independent health advocates who aren’t afraid to upset the status quo, and anyone who has cancer or knows others with cancer is encouraged to see the information they have collected in addition to consulting with qualified health care professionals for diagnosis and treatment.
