An easy way to spook up Halloween drinks is to use pre-formed ice tray/molds. These are also fun to use for other occasions throughout the year.
Bone Chillers Ice Cube Tray
Skulls and bones shapes that make a chilling addition to any Halloween drinks and work well made in color and served in clear drinks. Small enough for individual glasses as well as in punch bowls
Fred & Friends Ice Screams Ice Cube Tray
Inspired by Edvard Munch’s painting, these Scream faced ice cubes are great done in color and served in a clear glass or tall pitcher
Brain Freeze Ice Cube Tray
These fun brain-shaped ice cubes add the perfect spooky touch to a Halloween punch. The silicone mold create a lot of details and can be made clear for a blood colored punch or a fun green, red variation for clear drinks.
A floating hand, or two, in the punch bowl: how spooky is that? Use a color for the ice hands that is contrasting to the punch, so it will stand out
Twisty ties ~ one per glove
*Mix water and food coloring until desired color is achieved
*Pour the colored water into the glove and use a twisty tie to seal
*Lay the filled gloves on a cookie sheet and freeze
*Hands can either be laid flat or shaped (such as a claw or making a peace sign) by placing something under the hand to remain there during the freezing process
*Remove the gloves before adding hands to punch bowl.
*Before starting, fill a glove with clear water and then empty the contents into a large measuring cup to find out the amount of liquid needed per mold. This will allow you to pre-mix a variety of colors ahead of time.
* Colored fruit juice can be used in place of food colored water
