Lecrae debuts his new album and songwriter Deon Kipping shares his vocal skills with fans. After heating up the charts with “Burn It All Down,” Lexi debuts her album. DC-based artist Robert E. Person’s “Soul Sanctuary” makes it national debut. Here are the songs debuting Tuesday, September 4.
“Gravity”- Lecrae. The new release features Mali Music, Mathai (The Voice), label mates Trip Lee and Tedashii as well as production from DJ Khalil, Street Symphony’s Heat Academy and The Watchmen. Songs include “Walk with Me” feat. Novel, “I Know” and “Violence.”
“I Just Want To Hear You”- Deon Kipping. The 12-track CD offers a fusion of pop, alternative, contemporary, and traditional Gospel sounds. He also wrote and produced the project. “Prisoner of Christ” is infused with an edgy pop/alternative sound while “Never Cease” is a contemporary praise and worship anthem, and the title track is a soulful mid-tempo song.
“Phenomenal”-Lexi. The CD’s first single, “Burn It All Down” is riding high on the gospel music charts and getting listeners’ attention. Songs include “Breakthrough,” “It is You,” and “None Like You.”
“Soul Sanctuary”-Robert E. Person. The popular singer makes his national debut with memorable tracks that include a mesmerizing rendition of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” the sweet, reverent song, “You” the up-tempo “Gotta Praise,” and the Donny Hathaway classic, “Someday We’ll All Be Free.”
“The Mario Brown Project”- Mario Brown This is the first national project for Brown. His single “Glory” is currently gaining rotation on the radio. Other songs include “Take Me Away,” “Flow River Flow” and “I Can Live.”
“The Narrow Road” – Jared Anderson. This is the singer’s first solo album in over three years. Songs includes “According to His Word” and “Impossible Possible.” The album also includes two favorites, the worship anthem “Great I Am” and the Desperation classic “I Am Free,” which features his former band mates Glenn Packiam and Jon Egan.
“The Song Inside the Sounds of Breaking Down” – John Mark McMillan. The album has been digitally re-mastered and re-mixed and includes the never before released tracks “Hold On” and “Dancing on the Doors.” In addition, the re-release features the original extended version of “How He Loves,” as well as an alternate unreleased version of the congregational favorite.
“Rest” – Beckah Shae. New music from Shae includes the title track, You and I,” “Without You” and “Your Presence.”
