Chef Gordon Ramsay is making waves on television this week with sizzling finales of “Hotel Hell” and “Hell’s Kitchen.” On September 3, Ramsay closed out the first season of “Hotel Hell” with a double dose of filth. On Tuesday, September 4, the first of a two-part season finale of “Hell’s Kitchen” airs on FOX. It all adds up to a ton of reality fun for fans of acid-tongued Gordon Ramsay.
The first season of “Hotel Hell” was so popular with viewers that the reality series starring Gordon Ramsay has already been picked up for a second season. During Monday’s finale, Ramsay visited two bed and breakfast inns that were populated with bugs, dust and filth.
At the River Rock Inn in Milford, PA, Gordon Ramsay discovered dead bugs and a disgusting galaxy of stains. After inspecting the broken down property and talking to its clueless owners, Ramsay zipped himself up in his sleeping bag for a long restless night. The next day, he waved his magic wand and transformed the property into one that can attract and keep customers.
During the second half of the season finale of “Hotel Hell,” Gordon Ramsay visited the Roosevelt Inn in Coeur D’Alene, ID. He found the property to be outdated, musty and smelly. However, the real challenge was the owner, who bought the old schoolhouse on a whim without discussing it with his overworked and unappreciated wife. Ramsay cracked the whip, cleaned up the place and even hosted its first wedding in a newly refurbished ballroom.
“Hotel Hell” premiered in August and quickly became the #1 new series in all key demos. It ranked as one of the summer’s top ten shows and was renewed quickly for a second season.
Gordon Ramsay is also set to close out the tenth season of “Hell’s Kitchen” with a two-part finale. Part one airs Tuesday at 8/7c on FOX. Three chefs remain in the competition and tonight they must whip up a stunning menu of their own choice. Will the chefs crack under the pressure of Chef Ramsay’s constant barrage of commands? Here’s a look at the three finalists.
- Justin Antorio: A 29-year-old Sous Chef from New Jersey
- Dana Choen: A 27-year-old Chef Instructor from New Jersey
- Christina Wilson: A 32-year-old Chef de Cuisine from Pennsylvania
Part two of the season finale of “Hell’s Kitchen” airs on Monday, September 10 when Chef Ramsay announces a winner and the new Head Chef of Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Penn & Teller and Wolfgang Puck are set to help judge the two remaining finalists.
