Every living piece of matter has an energetic frequency. We are surrounded by planetary energies that we cannot see but that make their way into our lives and assist us in creating action. Relationships go through cycles of discovery and destruction on their own from beginning to end. We are constantly trying to maneuver each other’s energy to get what we want. Today we are going to examine the effects of astrological influences and how they help push us through these ebbs and flows in our relationships.
When we examine ourselves through archetypes and astrological influences, we discover that we are part of a creation much more vast than humanity; we are a universe within a universe. We are energized by every planet in our solar system which then has an astrological designation and traits to pal around with them. We are all impacted monthly by the changeable moon that visits through each sign in the zodiac every 2.33 days. We are actually influenced by the Full Moon’s power 3 days before and 3 days after its completion to her cycle. We can examine how the moon’s energy and the astrological sign it is moving through could bring together a symbolic meaning and potential purpose for this touchy 6 day journey.
During the New Moon we are to set our intention with the fuel of the sign it is representing of what we would like to manifest by the Full Moon. The Full Moon each month is like a celebration toward our completion of our goals. This month’s Full Moon is even more enhancing as it is considered to be one of the largest viewing rises of the year. This moon is called the Harvest Full Moon as it falls just behind the Fall Equinox while metaphorically and literally bringing harvest to the cultivation of all the seeds we have sown from the Summer Solstice.
What will this Harvest Full Moon cultivate in our own lives?
This month we are bucked into action with the cocky confidence provided by the Full Moon’s gallop in the astrological sign of, Aries. Aries sun sign provides us with the Ego consciousness that has us striving to stay alive at any cost. We will be slaying the things that do not honor us by developing our inner strength in an outwardly manner which could cause upheavals and a decisive plucking toward our personal relationships, circumstances, or unpleasant conditions that we realize are not serving us anymore. Aries is a fire sign so the energy is hot and moves rapidly. The ram is the symbol for Aries, and the planet is Mars. Mars is our planet of expression. Be ready to have some discussions about how we want things to be finished or changed in this Full Moon. Things may be at a boiling point so be cautious in our communication as to not get scalded and have long term pain from this outburst of energy.
Uranus and Pluto are partnering to help release these Full Moon fireworks. Here we have Tracy Chapman echoing her lyrics through the thin esoteric atmosphere of Uranus: “talk’n bout a revolution sounds like a, whisper”; Uranus is a planet characterized by freedom. This spiritually based place gives rise to our inner dreams and gives us innovation that catapults generations into cult like groups while promoting change and freedom trains. Look for relationships with dormant half popped kernels to open fully by the heated Aries Ram. This beast will be nudging some lovers to forge with strength and determination to get what they want out of everything. Watch out as we still have Pluto in the realm of energies, riding the ram through this universal march toward a new liberation.
Mixing Plutonian energy into this stampede is like creating an atomic bomb. The planet Pluto creates powerful and decisive transformations, breaks down weary patterns while taking no prisoners, just leaving dust in the wind. We may likely be cleaning house and getting ready for the New Year with this explosive opportunity, to be out with the old (hmm, sounds pretty Arian attributed) and get prepared for the new. This energy plume creates a bonfire of sorts, stirring searing air to powerful latent fire pits. This could be something of a liberating event like that of the Burning Man Temple ceremony, or it could send you screaming from the woods begging for the emotional waters to put out the sorcery flames. This Full Moon could be tricky like a bad Halloween night. Luckily, the fully exposed maiden moon is resting upon the golden balancing scales of Libra; this will be our saving grace.
Libra is about providing a container to measure justice and equality in our relationships. We will be forced by an unexpected event (Uranus) or the unveiling of our deepest intention by exhibiting Aries courageous spirit to break new ground concerning our intimate relationships. Time to get rid of the old patterning (transformation with Plutonian energy) and bring to the forefront relationships that “tip the scales.” Our need to use the air of Libra and take a breath of pause before we react to these rising uncomfortable situations will be paramount to make it through without permanent scars. Don’t throw fall balls; roast marshmallows and communicate our real needs from a deep spiritual level. Each one of us is on our own journey, there will be times when our paths with our partner will not be mirroring our highest good and an urge to run will be uncontrollable, sometimes, undefinable.
Relationships are created as a reflection to fulfill our need for soul expansion. Unfortunately, when we do not learn our lessons in relationship and do the hard work, by being fully present in a relationship, then we invite these lessons to return to our lives which appear as different circumstances and faces. Our task, in partnership with the fiery energy of Aries, is to create a new environment, gaining ourselves high satisfaction that mirrors into our true motivating intentions and desires. We are bringing to light in the fullest of the moon just how our relationships are effecting our individual growth. Many of us try to stay in relationships that we probably know are exhausted and unhealthy. We can easily penetrate from knowing it is over to the more dense feeling of fear. We actually find this fear state familiar and could stay there awhile as we don’t want to be alone, just yet. But, if this is us in relationship right now, the time will not pause for us to delay any longer; Pluto has entered our house and hearts.
This Full Moon gives us a collage of opportunity to design positive change by releasing old patterns of thought and behavior into her generous and healing light illuminating the horizon come 6:20pm MST. The time is now to look within our own virtual reality game that we have been playing in our mind and cut the scenes or repair the film that does not characterize us in this moment. We are all walking around with dialogue in our heads that creates plots and themes to our story-lines. We must remember that our partner is living their story in their distinctive character role. We don’t get to rewrite their lines or be editors to their scripts, only they can do that. Getting lost in other people’s stories is what happens when we try to become the hero or the heroine of our partner’s ongoing show and not allow them to be their own protagonist. Not only do we become something we are not, we inhibit the other to grow to the point that they feel suffocated as their internal life feels stunted. It is the awkward feeling in a relationship when you still care for the person but just “know” something isn’t right. The moment arrives where you might say you need a “time-out” and the other person just looks at you in disbelief.
If we do not take time to know what our own character needs to be happy then we could lose our lines and befall our authentic part. We are just a collection of beliefs and statements that reflect our past and present experience, Uranus will help bring these feelings to the surface to be transformed and transmuted with Pluto force. When we recollect the moments of despair and pain from a relationship, we are just recreating the memories and sending energy to them so they stay alive – it is our story after all, right? We can, however, change these events and how we feel about them, by not give them strength and changing our mind about them. This is literally what “moving on” means. Moving away, shifting from the emotions, circumstances, and conditions that have brought us pain. Altering our focus away from the past and becoming one with the present moment with more of a sense of gratitude and forgiveness, is the directed path to going forward. Aries will be our focused friend, as long as we keep our cool, which will help us all get back on solid footing. Lean into this uncomfortable ground of change and allow Libra’s highly skilled act of balance to encourage compassion to re-enter this disruptive relationship disorder.
Always remember that life is a patchwork of people and conditions. We are not to get too attached to anything as we are all dynamic beings that move and react from changeable circumstances, including, astrological and planetary cycles. We have been given on the day of birth a chart of lifetime potentials and through our journey we construct new opportunities that compliment or challenge these potentials. Every relationship is fueled by our intentions to love and be loved as innately we all want the same ending of a long-term partnership. During our discovery of the Self, we may organize power struggles to bring forth inner strength or we could be more silent and see how things flow in a more natural feeling manner while in relationship. Whatever happens with the relationships of our lives, we are to remember one important quality – all events are only, experiences. Our experiences, however, shape us into who we are today, as well as the person we have had this encounter with. So find in our hearts a passionate compassion and use Aries, Libra and Uranus to help us transition and transform what is not honorable to our truest intentions and journey. After this experience has concluded, get ready to ride into the freedom winds with an air of confidence and a progressive power of focus, yet balanced, intention.
