Although no one can interfere into the realm of the Almighty, many within the Pan African and Ras Tafari communities are watching with keen interest, praying in earnest and perhaps, searching for spiritual meaning and the sociopolitical implications on the passing of the Head of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Abuna Paulos, and the Head of the Ethiopian State, Zenawi Meles.
Abuna Paulos died suddenly on August 17, 2012, and after over two months of public absence and much speculation on his health and whereabouts, it was reported that Prime Minister Meles died in a Brussels hospital of an unnamed infection on August 21, 2012.
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is long recognized as one of the surest pillars of Ethiopian society, and as Emperor Haile Selassie I stated, it is one of the spiritual traditions bequeathed to the Ethiopian people. This spiritual tradition was also bequeathed to Pan Africans within the Western Hemisphere by Our Majesty, after he visited the region and witnessed the passion and enthusiasm of the people for him and their lost Ethiopian heritage.
There is great history on the Ethiopian Church, its origin, traditions and mission, and I hope ones will investigate this great and lasting legacy. For those who are seers, witnesses and spiritual agitators for the greater good, the following questions must be asked, meditated on and appropriately answered:
What is the meaning of the death of these two very prominent and powerful leaders, the timing, proximity of the transitions and the spiritual and political implications, vis-à-vis the foundation of creation…Ethiopia
While InI cannot determine on which side of the spiritual divide Abuna Paulos or Zenawi Meles now sit, nor can InI speak on the entirety of their now completed earthly mission; I do accept the possibility that they are warriors, perhaps being prepared for the battle between spiritual Ingels (angels), who strive not against flesh and blood, but against the existing spiritual wickedness in high and low places. Likewise, over the past few months, the Ras Tafari community saw several of its strongest Ingels transitioned to the realm of Ancestors. They have been, and perhaps remain on the higher terrain of iritical (spiritual) conflict against the forces of evil.
Now, if it is the will of the Almighty, and if the battle lines are completely drawn, InI should happily expect the impending victory of GOOD over evil. This does not mean that many more will not suffer and sacrifice for the greater good, but maybe, our righteous cause now posses a stronger cadre of moral beings, ready to assist those ancestors who have long been fighting for the salvation of all humanity.
May the struggle for justice and righteousness continue under the banner of one JAH, one aim, one humanity and destiny…Ethiopia!!
