While on the pricy side, at $52.95 for Dr. Hauschka’s Hydrating Mask, formerly called the Moisturizing Mask, along with a name change came a packaging change, though the product is still a very good one. It always worries me when companies change both the packaging and the name of an existing product that has been a great staple to many people. Luckily, though it has changed a bit, this product is still a win.
Dr. Hauschka’s Hydrating Mask is both hydrating, soothing, and the smell relaxes the senses. It is a great product for the winter months, and those with dehydrated skin, yes your skin can be dehydrated even if it is oily, and living in Los Angeles, your skin is most likely dehydrated.
Once star off due to the cost. If this mask is in your price range you should absolutely be using it, if not you need to look at other alternatives to fix your dehydrated skin.
What they claim straight from the website Dr. Hauschka website:
Hydrating Mask imparts moisture-retaining qualities to dry, sensitive and mature skin. This blend of botanicals soothes, protects and revitalizes while sealing in moisture, leaving skin feeling smooth and supple.
Quince seed extract replenishes and helps dry skin to retain moisture
Nourishing almond, avocado and jojoba oils hydrate the outer layer of skin
Rose wax and shea butter soothe and protect
Formerly known as Moisturizing Mask
Used as directed, Hydrating Mask lasts approximately 2-3 months
The bottom line is Dr. Hauschka Hydrating Mask is a product that actually works if you are in need of a deeply hydrating experience and perfect for your home facial. When using it once a week, or every other week, you will see results. I can only recommend this if it wont break your bank.
If you can’t afford $50+ on a mask you can make your own with some shea butter, essential oils, and jojoba oil google for specific ideas or copy some of the ingredients on the list at the link above. You may end up spending about the same, however, you will have a lot more product and made fresh to your needs, that will also last you longer than one tube of this. All Dr. Hauschka Hydrating Masks have expatriation dates on them due to their “natural” ingredients. Make sure if you purchase this product that you will use it up by the expiration date.
One star off for the price, otherwise it would be 5 stars.
