The name of the most popular show in America is “Dancing With the Stars,” but should that be dating with the stars instead? It’s been said that dancing is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. What about when the clothes come off?
The dances are steamy and the contact is close, a perfect environment for sex.
“When you have two single people in a room and you are spending so much time together, it’s natural to have chemistry and to be curious,” longtime pro Cheryl Burke tells The Post. “All of a sudden you think you are in love because you are grinding on each other seven days a week.”
These things happen all the time, according to a spy on the DWTS staff who leaks information to the press when couples happen or break up. The spy has told just about everyone, “They all fool around with each other. The problem is that many of these people are married. It’s disgusting!”
Rumor has it that Mark Ballas and Olympian Shawn Johnson had something going on back in Season 8. They won the mirror ball trophy that year, but the break-up went bad. Insiders say this is why they’re not paired up for the current all-star season. It should be noted that they both deny that anything happened between them.
Speaking of the all-star season, Pamela Anderson, eliminated in the first week, set the rumor mills on fire when she invited her dance partner, Tristan MacManus, on a Mexican vacation. They’ve occasionally been seen together since the elimination, but it’s reported that Tristan is very much in love with his girlfriend.
Dance pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 32, says that these types of connections happen a lot more than people know. The problem is they rarely end well.
And it’s not just celebrity/dance pro couplings. Maks actually became engaged to fellow dance pro Karina Smirnoff. Something happened, it ended quickly and now they don’t even speak to each other. Maks has admitted, however, to “crossing the line” with Willa Ford in Season 3. He’s now dating Australian dance pro Peta Murgatroyd, partnered this season with Gilles Marini.
Peta, you may recall, had a rather long relationship with dance pro Damian Whitewood, who is now reportedly dating Russell Crowe’s estranged wife from “Dancing With the Stars” in Australia. It’s not only the judges who need a score card!
So is there any hanky-panky going on in this all-star season? Besides the rumors of Anderson and MacManus, bets are being placed on actress Kelly Monaco and her pro dance partner Valentine Chmerkovskiy as the two most likely to hook up.
Our spy thinks they will definitely get together because of the intense chemistry between them. Supposedly, though, Kelly is very happy with her current boyfriend, actor/writer Heath Freeman.
