In honor of the Arkansas Razorbacks, we are going to present you wit the top fraudulent teams in the nation. These are teams that look good right now, and have received, or are starting to receive the hype, but will not be close to a National Championship in the end. Arkansas is out of the running because they have already hit rock bottom, yet as disappointing as it sounds, the future does not seem to be getting brighter anytime soon. We pride ourselves in seeing the future, so for your favorite teams sake, you should hope that we are wrong. Other teams aren’t eligible for this honor, if they have already fallen off early in the season. South Florida comes to mind as a team with high hopes, only to fall flat.
Top 5 Potential Frauds
They really look great defensively, but there’s something about the offense that troubles the soul. Maybe it’s the fact that they can’t score. Whatever the dilemma is, with the schedule they have remaining, I expect Notre Dame to go undefeated. How long do you think the defense can keep saving you? The fighting Irish need to score points in order to avoid any upsets. Next game is verse Miami Hurricanes.
The word is Texas is back. They played a tough game against OSU in Stillwater. Their defense is receiving a whole lot of accolades, but now they are entering the toughest stretch of their Big 12 schedule. The burden of stopping each offense may take its toll on the revamped Longhorns. Next game is home against West Virginia.
Yes it was a tough game on Thursday against Washington, but if the Cardinal displayed any offensive capability, they would have come home victorious. Last week, Stanford was on the short list as possible title contenders, now they can finish as low as fourth in the Pac 12 North. They are too good defensively to drop many more games. Next game is home against Arizona.
So far we’ve been disappointed in the offensive output of quarterback Matt Barkley. USC just hasn’t looked the part of a preseason number 1 team. The toughness of the Pac 12 may figure into losing a couple more games. In addition to the rivalry game with Notre Dame. Next game is at Utah.
Is this the year that you guys continue to win games? If your coach can win a chicken wing eating contest, then you can win the SEC West. Right now we will settle for you coming in second.
