October has arrived and Club Passim held a rousing final performance to end their summer concert series with singer-songwriter Emily Elbert last month. Now is the time to start thinking about the upcoming Oktoberfests, cool days, gently falling leaves, and the many autumn events that Club Passim has in store! Some of the events include Club Passim’s Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 7, Boston Celtic Music Fest Monday, an alternative rock duo that also dabbled in a little theatre, and an artist that spent ten years opening for the late, great George Carlin. Plus, brush up on songwriting skills as Passim School of Music with the Ellis Paul songwriting workshop!
Inspired to write a song, but not sure how to go about it? Popular Boston-based singer-songwriter Ellis Paul has written beautiful songs that have filled the landscape of television and film, telling all sorts of personal stories along the way. Ellis Paul has successfully taught a unique, six step songwriting process from conception to reality! He will share that method through his own Songwriting Master Class workshop at Passim School of Music on Saturday, October 6 at 1 p.m. Inspiration is the first step, and Ellis Paul will show students the rest!
