Billy Baldwin stars in a Valentine’s Day movie currently in production for Hallmark Channel, according to a Sept. 18, 2012 press release from Hallmark. Actor, writer and producer William “Billy” Baldwin (“Gossip Girl,” “Parenthood”) suits up as a firefighter once more in the romantic drama “Be My Valentine,” according to the announcement by Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel.

One of Billy Baldwin’s most critically acclaimed performances was in Ron Howard’s Academy Award®-nominated, action-thriller “Backdraft,” in which Baldwin played one of two firefighting brothers on the trail of a serial arsonist. In “Be My Valentine,” Baldwin once again plays a firefighter, and single dad, who takes a second chance on love after a career-ending injury causes him to reevaluate his life choices.
Billy Baldwin is best known for his starring roles in blockbuster films such as “Flatliners,” “Backdraft,” “Born on the 4th of July,” “Sliver,” “Fair Game,” “Virus,” “Double Bang,” “Danny Phantom,” “Art Heist,” “The Squid and the Whale,” and as himself in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.” On television, Baldwin starred as Senator Patrick Darling in the TV drama “Dirty Sexy Money,” the Lifetime TV movie “The Craigslist Killer” and is currently a regular guest on “Gossip Girl.”
