Thursday night’s episode of “Big Brother 14” is going to be huge, as the final three for this season will be determined. Many fans tuned in to the live feeds late Wednesday night to see “Big Brother” spoilers indicating who was nominated and who won POV, and some viewers turned off the feeds feeling as if they had it all figured out. Overnight, however, there were some interesting discussions and tidbits thrown out that tease a the potential for a big blindside. Could viewers really be in for a shock Thursday night?
As it stands now, Danielle is HOH and also holds the POV. She has nominated Dan and Ian, which would mean Shane has the deciding vote as to which houseguest heads to the jury. Late night discussions, however, revealed that there may be a plan to pull Dan off the block and put up Shane. In Shane’s mind, this plan has Dan voting out Ian and finally “getting his hands dirty.” Shane is hesitant to have to be the one to make the move of voting out Ian, as he’s thinking about jury votes. Shane and Danielle talked about this plan of making a switch, and she seemed on-board.
The site Big Brother Network notes that Dan Gheesling mentioned to the camera that he’ll have to make a decision about whether to evict Ian or Shane. As they point out, Dan makes this statement before he and Danielle have any alone time to talk. This would seem to indicate the two had already talked about this possibility and plan. Would Danielle really go along with a plan to have Dan evict Shane? She’s been listening to Dan all season long, rarely questioning his strategies, so it may be that he’s got her convinced this is the right move for both of them.
If viewers see Danielle move forward with using the POV, it seems highly likely that Dan will evict Shane and it is a given that Shane will be completely and thoroughly blindsided. This would leave Dan in an amazing position, as surely both Ian and Danielle would take him to the final two this season. If Danielle leaves Dan and Ian on the block it seems certain that Ian will head to the jury, though many wonder if there’s any possibility Shane would realize that evicting Dan would be a huge move.
As Hamsterwatch has noted, Dan repeatedly checked in with Ian overnight to ensure their final two alliance is still in place. Ian seems entirely “in” with the plan, so if Dani and Shane actually do put Dan in the position to cast the only vote, it sure looks like Dan would shake things up and send Shane packing. Once the final three are determined, the three-part final HOH competition will begin.
Fans are really divided this season of “Big Brother 14” over Dan Gheesling’s game play. Many think he has been nothing short of brilliant as he’s controlled much of the season, while others are unhappy with just how far he’s gone to keep himself in the game. It would be very interesting to see Dan in the finale sitting next to any of these others and see just what the jury decides to do. What do you think will happen Thursday night after these latest “Big Brother” spoilers? Who are you hoping ends up in the “Big Brother” finale?
