Ann Romney Costco List: Ann’s Clan Likes Rotisserie Chicken and Spinach…and lots of it!
Besides discussing her grocery list, Ann Romney worked in other relatable aspects of her life with viewers. Mrs. Romney explained that when she was in the trenches, battling the worst of serious medical problems like MS and breast cancer, she counted on her husband to figure something out for dinner each night. Rotisserie chickens from Costco became an easy family favorite around this time, she shared.
During the segment, Romney also explained a love of those great frozen cream puffs Costco sells. “The great thing about frozen desserts, they’re always ready to go!” Other items on the Ann Romney Costco list included spinach and meat for something called meatloaf cakes, which she explained are among Mitt’s favorites.

Rachel Ray asked Ann Romney what causes she might champion were she to become First Lady. Romney quickly responded, referencing her own struggles, “Well, I can’t ignore my own life. MS has been my greatest teacher, it’s been the toughest teacher, and breast cancer as well, so I’ll have to be talking about those things.”
Romney explained that due to the MS she can’t always be on the campaign trail, supporting her husband as she might like. “I exercise, I eat very healthy and I can’t stay up late. I also can’t stay on the road with Mitt for an extended period of time, because it’s just too much stress, too much energy for me. So I weave in and out.”
When Ray asked Romney to share something personal about Mitt Romney that Americans might not already know, Romney gushed, “He is a huge romantic. He’s very thoughtful. I am number one in his life always. I know the kids know that they are important in his life, too, but I am the center of his universe. He’s amazing that way. He’s very romantic.”
