The Halloween episode of “666 Park Avenue” entitled “A Crowd of Demons” aired on Oct. 28. Blissfully unaware of the Halloween horror history of the Drake (read that here), Brian walks into his apartment to find Louise and a Dr. Scott, who is rubbing Louise’s belly. Brian is not amused.
After introductions are made, Louise smooths things over by telling Brian she wants to set up Alexis with the doctor. Unbeknownst to Brian, Louise needs pills.
While Louise is in the shower, Alexis appears and apologizes to Brian for her prior behavior. She returns his key. Brian yells to Louise that Alexis is here, but Louise is looking for pills. Alexis lets it slip that Dr. Scott has examined Louise more than the once Brian saw.
Louise’s plan to hook up Dr. Scott and Alexis is working very well and they get it on in the stairwell. Dr. Scott slips something into Alexis’s stocking top, which remains unknown throughout the rest of the episode. Meanwhile, Brian confronts Louise about prior visits of Dr. Scott.
Louise hits up Dr. Scott for pain pills. He tells her he’ll take another look at her. Brian comes back with a new drink for Louise, just in time to see his wife getting on the elevator with the doctor.
Everything goes dark at the Drake as the power is cut. Louise and Dr. Scott are now trapped in the elevator. Louise begins to panic. Dr. Scott tells her there’s really nothing wrong with her except her need for pills. Louise admits to having been hooked on speed, but went through a course in rehab and she’s been free of pills until the elevator accident.
Brian is now panicked that he can’t find Louise in their apartment. He does, however, find the doctor’s cell phone with a hookup message to Louise on it, courtesy of Alexis.
Louise tells Dr. Scott that Brian doesn’t know about her prior pill addiction. He promises not to tell. After Louise tells him things are just fine with Brian, he makes a move on her. She pushes him away. “I love my husband! Weren’t you just flirting with my assistant? The two of you seemed pretty steamy.” After he admits to canoodling with Alexis, “You’re more screwed up than I am.”
Brian is talking to Alexis as Dr. Scott and Louise get out of the elevator. He’s really mad now and walks away from his wife.
This subplot on “666 Park Avenue” is growing by leaps and bounds. The next episode airs Sunday night, Nov. 4, at 10 p.m. eastern time. The quick preview looks like it’s an episode definitely not to be missed!
