Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights- Universal City (SFV/Hollywood)
The famous movie studio and theme park does Halloween like no one else can. New mazes include: “The Walking Dead: Dead Inside”, “Welcome to Silent Hill”, “Alice Cooper Goes to Hell 3D,” a reimagined “La Llorona: Cazadora de Niños” maze, and “Universal Monsters Remix”. An all new “Terror Tram: Invaded by The Walking Dead”. Several rides will remain open as well including“Transformers: The Ride—3D,” “The Simpsons Ride,” “Revenge of the Mummy” and “Jurassic Park In the Dark.”

Dates and times: Sept 21 thru Halloween Night. Event dates are: September 21, 22, 28, 29 and October 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 31.
Admission: $66 however with advance purchasing online you can save between $15 and $25 on “Killer Deal Nights” with advance purchase discounts of $5 or $10 on other select nights.
Parking: Either $10 or $15 (site is vague on this).

LA Haunted Hayride- Griffith Park
The long running Los Angeles Haunted Hayride makes its home in the the Old Zoo. Along with the Haunted Hayride, there is the “In-between” dark maze and purgatory sideshow.

Admission: $28 for the hayride. Add the haunted hay maze for total $37.

Los Angeles Live Steamers Halloween Ghost Train- Griffith Park
This is one that is not for the adrenaline junkie or anyone looking to be scared. It is just a really fun and unique experience. For the Halloween Ghost Train, Guests hop aboard these miniature steam trains for a 25 minute trip around the grounds at night through Halloween decorated areas with fog, hand crafted sets, and spooky lighting. This is an experience any age group can enjoy.
